Zachary Gerdts
President
About - Zachary Gerdts
Zac has worked in the medical field for over 20 years, selling orthopedic implants, building distribution channels for medical device manufacturers, and establishing best practice educational programs for new products and facility protocols. This experience has taught Zac the values of great service and great partnerships. During this time Zac, has worked in some capacity with most of the hospital networks throughout Central Indiana, and values the working relationships that he has developed with these health systems.
Over the past 10 years Zac has spearheaded the development of the total solutions platform afforded through RCS. This process documents and provides tangible results at an affordable price. This RCS platform will benefit hospitals in helping to reduce their liability, through aiding in the decontamination and disinfection of a frequently neglected high-touch surface. The process will also ensure proper repairs are made, track inventory and deliver the required documentation for state and regulatory bodies.
The demands & expectations on hospital staff are ever increasing, with increased quality benchmarks and such a growing emphasis on “outcomes.” The Affordable Care Act and Value Based Purchasing have elevated the ramifications & penalties on health systems specifically for HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections) and SSI (Surgical Site Infections.) Zac identified the need for a hospital partner that would assist in the care of a neglected piece of hospital equipment (x-ray garments) so the staff can better focus their time on patient care and to help the health system further reduce their potential for HAIs/SSIs.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Justin McKay
Vice President
About - Justin McKay
As Co-Founder and Executive Vice President, Justin is actively involved in a myriad of the day-to-day
ongoings with Radiological Care Services (RCS). Prior to Co-Founding RCS in 2014, Justin served as a
Territory Manager, Director of National Sales and then Vice President of Sales within Texas based, Ferris
Mfg. Corp (PolyMem/SportsWrap).
While at Ferris, Justin traveled extensively throughout the United States and observed surgical protocols
in healthcare networks large and small. Many years before Covid-19 ever challenged our current
cleaning protocols, Justin had already observed that hospitals really had no process for cleaning,
repairing, or managing their x-ray garment inventories. Early on, he and Zac consulted with the
governing bodies and the companies that manufacture the garments as they initially developed the
program at RCS. In addition to helping build out RCS from the ground-up, Justin is also versed in
developing IDN and GPO agreements, sales force development and executive level selling (both clinical
and administrative). Justin is committed to working closely with your facility to develop a tailored
servicing plan that best meets your network’s needs and preferences.
Justin has a Bachelor’s degree from DePauw University and a Master’s degree from Purdue University.
