CIYFC
RCS partnered with Certus Medical in purchasing a shuttle bus that we donated to the Central Indiana Youth For Christ. This helps support transportation needs for many initiatives and programs for youth throughout central Indiana.
FeedingTeam.org | First Pantry
RCS partnered with FeedingTeam.org to build our first food pantry to help those families struggling with food insecurity. The crew at RCS built this pantry and is responsible for checking weekly to ensure this pantry is stocked with non-perishable food items, personal hygiene items, etc. We love the mantra of FeedingTeam through this initiative – “Take What You Need, Give What You Can.”
City Life Wheels
RCS partnered with Northview Church in supporting their “Good Neighbor Week.” There were various projects to sign up for throughout the greater Indianapolis area to help serve others. Some of the team from RCS shared a good part of their Saturday serving at City Life Wheels. This organization uses donated vehicles to teach near east-side youth basic auto maintenance and repair skills taught by an ASE certified mechanic. City Life is providing these young people life skills, instilling self-confidence and the means to provide for themselves and their futures.
NOTE – When we saw this organization was asking for some help with cleaning and organization, it was a no brainer for us to help out! We wrote the book on cleaning!

FeedingTeam.org | Second Pantry
RCS built and placed another food pantry in the community to help support those families struggling with food insecurities. We are blessed as a team and it is a privilege to be able to help others in need. You can learn more about this initiative (and bring it to your community) by learning more at FeedingTeam.org
NeighborLink Indianapolis
RCS was proud to partner up with NeighborLink for this weekend service project.
NeighborLink is an organization that is committed to meeting the needs of the senior population throughout the Indianapolis area and surrounding communities. Seniors living below the poverty level with no family to support them and with older homes that begin to break down lead to a poor quality of life. A majority of the repairs made/services provided through NeighborLink are considered “do-able” for some homeowners. However, a majority of these homeowners are no longer physically or financially able to do so and just need a little bit of help.
We learned that an elderly woman from the East Side of Indianapolis had her seven-year-old granddaughter living with her and the back yard was filled with tires, bottles, a tattered fence that needed to be removed, and more. We cleaned everything up, pulled weeds, cut up limbs and helped provide some white-glove cleaning services to the backyard; thus, helping to ensure that the little girl had a safe place to play with her grandma. We battled heat and poison ivy and filled an entire dumpster from the backyard alone!
Generosity and Compassion are core values at RCS – It’s important for us that our core values are lived out and put into place, not just posted on the hallways at RCS.
Midwest Food Bank
Midwest Food Bank provides food to nearly 300 agency partners in over 62 counties in Indiana, and has now expanded its operations into 7 other states as well.
As a faith-based organization, it is the mission of Midwest Food Bank to share the love of Christ by alleviating hunger and malnutrition locally and throughout the world and providing disaster relief; all without discrimination. Their vision is to provide industry-leading food relief to those in need while also feeding them spiritually.
Seeking to live out our core values of Generosity and Compassion, our team spent a Saturday morning loading pallets of food for distribution, sorting donated foods, helping organize and clean the warehouse, and more. We are blessed to be able to work hard with the hopes of being a blessing in turn to others. We worked hard and had fun along the way!
Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done. – Proverbs 19:17
