A community hospital system in Indiana approached RadCare Services with three facilities and a unified goal: to align everyone under the same compliance program.
Their lead garment program was scattered across sites with no standardized inspection process, no shared compliance documentation, and no single point of accountability. What they needed was a partner who could manage the full network, not just one department.
RCS built the program around compliance and inventory management first, giving their radiology teams a single auditable record across all three sites.
Deep cleaning and disinfection wasn’t part of the original ask, but it’s included in every RCS program. When the team saw the before and after results from the trial, it added a dimension to the program they hadn’t anticipated. Cleaner garments meant a measurable reduction in infection and SSI risk, strengthening the business case and making the program easier to approve and expand across all three sites.
